Coined by AH fan Alison Brooks sometime in the late '90s, "Alien Space Bats" is a term used to describe anything that's truly fantastically out of this world, such as entire countries, and/or landmasses, being taken off, or time traveling Boers in North Carolina, or Cthulhu taking over the world, or Martians invading New York.....well, so many possibilities, so little space!
