Okay, so the question is simple: What if James Earl Carter, 39th President of the United States, had won a second term in office?
How could this be accomplished and what might happen if he won?

If the hostages been released and operation eagle claw worked then this would of happened. I see the conservative movement going down in flames.

At least, I'd think that the GOP would have to try to pick a more moderate candidate when '84 comes around.....maybe Howard Baker or Bob Dole could fit the bill?  |
