Since I'm no longer part of AH.com and that I can't post my own creations there, I've decided to create this thread, dedicated to my own custom made flags and maps.
I'll start this off with my near done WIP map of the post-WWIII in 2017 world: 
As you can see, I gave Siberia, Yakutia (or Sakha), Uyghurstan, and a couple more nations identifiable colors. The blue outline in many countries (or should I say inline?) indicates an expanded NATO that covers the Asia-Pacific region, though it shouldn't be called NATO at this point (but that's another story).
Anyways, comments and criticism are welcome here. |

(making a double post, sort of)
I was going to upload this earlier, but I wasn't in the mood after my first entry, so I'm making up for this.
Basically my first flag I'm posting here is what I consider to be a flag for a hypothetical post-Kim Dynasty North Korea. This North Korea becomes a sort of puppet state of the People's Republic of China after the fall of the Kim regime, so much so, that this North Korea is refered to officially as the People's Republic of Korea.
The PRK logo took me a while to make as I was looking for a more local communist symbol that isn't a copy and paste of the hammer and sickle. In regards to that, I got the inspiration from one of the proposal designs for the PRC flag and figured it would look interesting. Oh and I apologize for the um circular thing that resembles the one on the South Korean flag; I was trying to emulate the design on Inkscape, where the flag was made.

Well I haven't covered what happens next, but we can assume Russia might get pretty unstable in the years after 2018. I'm planning on making a comic in the future featuring the world depicted in this map. What comic is that is a secret, and only time will tell what the title of the comic is. |
