Can't have an AH site and not have at least ONE thread discussing this series! 
Well, has anyone else around here read it? I burned my way through them all in about in a month back in 2006 and loved them. ^_^ It's a cool idea and a fun story, and while I would've gone in some different directions than Turtledove did I still enjoyed pretty much all of it.
